06 Aug 2008 | UNAIDS Reports Significant Gains in HIV Prevention
In its recent 2008 Report on the Global AIDS Epidemic, UNAIDS reports that there have been significant gains in preventing new HIV infections in a number of heavily-affected countries. Statistics also show fewer cases of mother-to-child transmission of HIV. Signs of improvement were recorded in Rwanda and Uganda, two countries where FXB operates extensively. FXB applauds this development and looks forward to future progress in HIV prevention and treatment efforts worldwide.
